“The NRM party primaries have already sparked tensions, with some candidates deciding to run as independents after losing the party flag,” he said.

Kakuru anticipates that candidates will focus their campaigns on key issues affecting the district, including economic development, education, and healthcare.

“As Kabale, we are ready and waiting for the campaigns to start on Monday, but we expect candidates to carry service delivery manifestos,” Kakuru added.

With preparations complete, all eyes are now on Kabale to see how the campaign season unfolds and how candidates engage with voters ahead of the polls.
